The First International Workshop on Generative AI and Computational Language Modelling (GACLM 2024)

26-29 November, 2024 | Dubai, UAE

Colocated with

The 2nd International Conference on Foundation and Large Language Models (FLLM2024)

The First International Workshop on Generative AI and Computational Language Modelling (GACLM 2024)

Call for Papers

With the emergence of Generative AI (GenAI), the world is experiencing a new era of generative models producing various types of data, including textual and visual data. This is accompanied by the unprecedented advancement of Computational Language Modeling (CLM) techniques that are supporting a wide range of downstream applications. Both Generative AI and Computational Language Modeling are leading the paradigm shift we are witnessing in Artificial Intelligence.

The International Workshop on Generative AI and Computational Language Modeling (GACLM 2024) addresses the architectures, applications, challenges, approaches, and future directions of this new era of Artificial Intelligence systems based on GenAI and CLM. We invite the submission of original papers on all topics related to GACLM, with special interest in, but not limited to, the following:

  • Human-Centered Generative AI
  • Natural Language Processing (NLP)
  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Text generation, summarization, and question answering
  • Sentiment analysis, misinformation detection, and emotion detection
  • Language comprehension, grammar and style checking, and complex reasoning
  • Document processing and information retrieval
  • Computer-Assisted Language Learning
  • Adversarial machine learning and applications
  • Generative adversarial networks (GANs)

Organization Committee

  • Gregorio Martinez Perez, University of Murcia, Spain
  • Izzat Alsmadi, Texas A&M University-San Antonio, USA
  • Anastasija Nikiforova, University of Tartu, Estonia
